The parcels of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes were crushed, fermented and matured separately in stainless steel tanks and then carefully blended before spending a short time on its lees in order to add richness and texture to the palate. The wine was then bottled relatively early so as to retain its aromatics and freshness. A classic combination that marries the body and bright, citrus-fruit characters of Semillon with the lifted, herbaceous overtones of Sauvignon Blanc. The two varieties combine seamlessly to produce a zesty, easy-drinking wine with a fresh and lively finish that makes an ideal accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, including seafood, vegetarian, chicken and pasta with creamy sauces.
