We sourced the grapes for our Beside Broke Road Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River, one of the world’s most geographically isolated wine regions. The fruit was harvested in the early hours of the morning when it was at its coolest, before being lightly pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to maintain the freshness of the tropical fruit flavours.
Made in a vivacious, expressive maritime-climate style, this zippy Sauvignon Blanc shows classic lemongrass, guava and passionfruit aromas. The palate offers a lovely balance between vibrant citrus characters, a hint of cut grass and a crisp, refreshing acid profile. Light, refreshing and moreish, it goes down wonderfully on a warm afternoon.
