About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to fill a full time role within our Vineyard / Maintenance team in Pokolbin. Tyrrell’s are the custodians of some of the rarest and oldest vine material in the world. This role will involve the repair and maintenance of equipment for both Vineyard and Warehouse.
This role reports directly to the Vineyard Manager.
- Diagnostic and repair machinery faults
- Keeps records of daily activities
- Supervision of mechanical Employees
- Daily machinery inspections
- Servicing of vehicles
- Welding/Metal fabrication
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrates a high attention to detail
- Shows initiative and a high level of communication
- Engineering and Mechanical qualifications
- Drivers Licence
- Truck Licence desirable
- Welding Ticket
A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. This position comes with a vehicle allowance.
Ordinary hours of work are Monday to Friday but the position requires the candidate to have a level of flexibility, which requires working after hours and weekends during peak periods.
