On the 26-28th February 2016, Tyrrell’s Wines joined a wealth of cellar doors who popped-up in Hyde Park for a weekend of NSW regional delights at Sydney Cellar Door. They were joined by some of NSW’s best restaurants, growers and artisans, featuring beautiful regional produce on their stalls and menus.
There was good food and good wine in abundance, all located in an idyllic outdoor setting. With winemakers from all over NSW, some of the hottest names on the Sydney dining scene and excellent tunes provided by both DJs and live bands, it was a great Sydney weekend.
This year we showcased a number of our iconic Hunter Valley wines – Hunter Valley Semillon 2015, Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2015, Part & Parcel 2015, Single Vineyard HVD Semillon 2010, Vat 47 Chardonnay 2011, Hunter Valley Shiraz 2013 and Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet 2011.
The Vat 47 and Vat 8 were of course highly sought after, but the new Part & Parcel and the aged Single Vineyard HVD Semillon were both very popular with the crowd.
